About Me

Photography has been a lifelong passion, first introduced to me by my father when I was 17. Inspired by legends like Henri Cartier-Bresson and Eugene Smith, I’ve spent over 40 years behind the lens, with the past 12 as a professional photographer specializing in architecture, property, and industrial subjects. My work has been recognized internationally, including being shortlisted in the International Photography Awards (Architecture category) and receiving an Honorable Mention in the Monovisions Black and White Photography Awards.

But my journey wasn’t always so clear. I left a successful career as a sales director—complete with a big salary and international travel—to pursue photography full-time. Starting from scratch, I struggled to understand digital photography, Adobe Lightroom, and Photoshop. It was through the guidance of mentors, including renowned photographer Stuart Freedman, that I transformed my skills and built a fulfilling career.

Now, I help photographers over 50 who’ve already got the technical side sorted, but feel like their work has plateaued — competent, but not quite theirs yet. If that’s where you are, you’re in the right place.
